Late Sri Mustafa Rasheed Shervani
Mr. Mustafa Rasheed Shervani was born in the village - Bilona, Tehsil - Chharra, District - Aligarh on 22nd July 1922.
He took part in the freedom movement. His maternal grand father was Khwaja Abdul Majid. He died on April 8, 1980.
His father N. A. Shervani (Nisar Ahmad Shervani) was the General Manager in a Sugar factory in Panjab. Later this family
contributed enormously in setting up and running Neoli Sugar Factory. M. R. Shervani was the only son of N. A. Shervani
who got higher education in Aligarh Muslim University and took an active part in National Freedom Movement of India.
He also established himself as esteemed Businessman.
He set up the GEEP Cell and Torch Industry in Allahabad and established Neoli Sugar Factory in Eta district.
The Govt. of India awarded him with rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He served throughout his life as a member of legislative Assembly. He contributed so much in the sphere of Health and Education.
He started Rafi Ahmad Kidwai Hospital in Allahabad and setup several dozen of Hospitals and Educational institutions all over the country.
He founded schools from Primary Level to Higher Education, Degree Colleges. It was your tireless effort which gave an existance and shape
to Shervani Inter College Neoli Kasganj and now this college is getting advancement rapidly with a shining brilliance of success.
